Community Resilience and Planning CGS

All students must meet the Requirements for the Certificates of Graduate Study.

Overview

The 18-credit Certificate of Graduate Studies in Community Resilience and Planning (CRP) equips degree and non-degree graduate students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to lead and support resilient communities amid social, economic, and environmental change. Students explore community resilience and planning through natural, economic, social, and political lenses to strengthen their understanding of the challenges facing communities in Vermont, throughout the U.S., and around the globe. With a core set of courses designed to provide students with a survey of the community resilience and sustainability fields, the CRP prepares students with the tools needed to help communities navigate times of crisis, transition, and long-term change.
